One of the oldest and most well-known projects was a total conversion mod for GTA: San Andreas . It aimed to recreate the entire VCS map, missions, and mechanics within the San Andreas engine. However, development stalled in 2019 and the project was officially declared dead in 2020.
For over a decade, modders have attempted to port the VCS experience to the "people’s platform."
Unlike other 3D era games, VCS allows players to take over businesses (Protection Racket, Loan Sharking, Prostitution, etc.) and manage them to generate daily income.
