ITA version One of the most striking aspects of Kahaani is the cinematography. Viewing the film in or higher is essential to appreciate how the city of Kolkata is treated as a living, breathing character.
Kahaani proved that you don't need exotic international locations or massive action set pieces to create a high-stakes thriller. All you need is a tight script, a compelling lead, and an ending that no one sees coming.
The story follows Vidya Bagchi (played by a phenomenal Vidya Balan), a pregnant woman who flies from London to Kolkata during the chaotic Durga Puja festival. Her mission is simple but desperate: to find her missing husband, Arnab Bagchi.
